What the free run includes
- One full-length timed run: 100 questions weighted to FSMTB's seven content areas, 110 minutes, no going back.
- Your percent correct, a readiness band from our documented model and your result in each content area.
- Worked explanations for the first three questions. The rest stay locked until you buy a plan. You need a free account. No card.
Starter, $29: untimed practice by content area
Starter is for working your weak areas without the clock. You get untimed practice in all seven content areas, drawn from the whole question bank, with an explanation after every question. You also get every worked explanation from your own runs. Starter does not include further full-length timed forms or the per-area dashboard.
Elite, $49: unlimited full-length forms
Elite is for rehearsing test day more than once. You get:
- Unlimited full-length timed forms, with questions you haven't seen served first.
- The per-area dashboard.
- Your percentile among candidates practicing on LMTPrep, once 30 candidates have a ranked run.
- Everything in Starter. Already on Starter? Elite is $20 from there, the difference between the two prices.
Next to the cost of the MBLEx
Every MBLEx attempt costs $265, paid to FSMTB with your application, and the fee is nonrefundable. If you fail, you can reapply right away, but every retake is another $265 (what the MBLEx costs). A plan here is a single payment, made before the attempt that counts.
Refunds
Every purchase carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. Ask within 7 days of the charge and you get that payment back, no reason needed: email [email protected]. There is no pass guarantee. Nobody can honestly promise you an MBLEx result, and we don't.
Paying
Checkout runs through Stripe, in US dollars. You pay once; nothing renews. Access starts as soon as the payment goes through.
Is LMTPrep a subscription?
No. Each plan is a single payment. Our Terms give you access to the plan you bought, including future updates to it, for as long as the service operates.
Do I have to pay to take a full-length MBLEx practice test?
No. A free account includes one full-length timed run with a readiness estimate and your result by content area. You pay only if you want more: untimed practice by area (Starter) or more full-length forms (Elite).
Can I start with Starter and move to Elite later?
Yes. From Starter, Elite costs $20, the difference between the two prices, and you keep everything Starter gave you.
Does a Ready result mean I will pass the MBLEx?
No. Ready is a study signal from our model, not a prediction. FSMTB reports the MBLEx as pass or fail only and publishes no cut score. How we score explains the bands.
